Qualifications extend from the Introductory Certificate in First Line Management at Level 3 (equivalent to A level) up to the Level 4 and 5 NVQ in Management.

Level 4 is aimed at middle managers who have decision making responsibilities and level 5 where senior managers have a large amount of autonomy in how they utilise their resources.
 

ILM Level 3 Award in First Line Management
 
Duration: 34 hours over 3 - 4 months.
 
Cost: £685.00 (Zero VAT Rated) per person.
 
The aim of the four-day programme is to give practicing and potential First Line Managers recognition for their skills and formal development. It gives an introduction to the basic skills, knowledge and understanding required by today’s first line manager. The mandatory unit in ‘Solving Problems and Making Decisions’ is designed to develop practical techniques for tackling managerial problems and decisions from gathering and interpreting information through to the effective communication of outcomes. The course consists of an induction and in addition to the taught programme you will successfully complete a work-based assignment.

ILM Level 4 Award in Management
 
Duration: 34 hours plus workshop over 3 - 4 months.
 
Cost: £800.00 (Zero VAT Rated) per person.
 
The aim of this programme is to give practicing and potential managers a solid foundation for their formal development as a manager and recognition for their skills and knowledge and acts as a bridge between Level 3 and Level 5. In addition to the taught programme, you will successfully complete a work-based assignment, in the form of a research project, all defined by your tutor.

ILM Level 5 Award in Management
 
Duration: 45 hours plus workshop over 4-5 months.
 
Cost: £1050.00 (Zero VAT Rated) per person.
 
The aim of this taught Award is designed to develop basic middle management skills and knowledge, to give practising and potential manager’s recognition for their skills and formal development. The course consists of an induction and in addition to the taught programme you will successfully complete a work-based assignment, all defined by your tutor.
